Major Muster at Nantwich, 25th to 27th August 2007. Camera seems to have died at the muster, the movie had weird colour, Fujifilm later confirmed my suspicions that the camera is not designed to be dropped into pint tankards and despite being shut off, the beer, cider or wine found a way inside. Thankfully a very nice man at the insurance broker found that the model was no longer made and got me a nice 12 Megapixel Fujipix f50d instead... |

The

defended Faringdon from Cromwell's parliamentarian army. The Battle for
Faringdon went on for over 2 years, which left it devasted; the church
lost its steeple and 350 families where left homeless.
Conducted over the weekend of the 19th & 20th July 2008
Some photos towards the end were the result of walking into the beer
tent, getting jumped on by face paint wielding girls and not realising
that the camera was set to manual, flash off mode :) |
| Belvoir
Castle 2008 |
The
Sealed Knot recreates the scene when Royalist Rob-Carrier Gervase Lucas

to Belvoir
Castle which was their Civil War stronghold. Staged over the August
bank holiday it brings the curtails the Royalist dreams to an end by
the Army of Parliament. Beer tent scenes set to flash off as people not like flash in the face much, the blurry pictures wiped, some of the daytime shots were difficult with the people in front of white canvas with the sun on them and the canvas. |
